Haven’t blogged in awhile…I dunno how long it’s been actually. The end of my last quarter got busier than it shoulda been. I could complain in a paragraph about that, but I’m not gonna cuz it’s over. Got As again. After school ended I ran away to see my brother and his girlfriend. I really needed to get away from here for a while and I hadn’t seen him in forever, so I headed up that way.

My visit was fun times; I am definitely glad I went. The week off in between quarters is too short though. Hard to start over fresh in that short amount of time. This quarter will be much more difficult than my last quarter; just hoping I survive. Not that I have a choice in that…gotta survive to get my degree. One of my classes is 6 units and is gonna be nuts. I will try to keep my whining to a minimum : )

What else besides school? I bought Stardust by Neil Gaiman, but I haven’t started reading it. It might have to wait until after the quarter now. I bought that one because I liked the movie and I want to see how his writing style is. If I like it I’m definitely going to buy more of  his books that looked interesting. I also just bought Bless Me, Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya. People always talked about this book in my Chicano studies classes, but it was never assigned reading. I got it for cheap at one of the closing Borders locations. Pretty stoked. More of me being a wannabe Chicana heh. I always joke with my Mexican friends about it.

I’m trying to enjoy my last days of freedom from school, but I feel like I should be doing homework. My first class is on Thursday, but that’s Cesar Chavez Day so there is no class until the following week. Nothing from the class is online yet though. Le sigh. See…I ended up talking about school again even though I was trying to spare you all haha.
